ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course
The Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course
DATE: Saturday, December 7th 8 a.m.-4 p.m. & Sunday, December 8th, 2013 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
LOCATION: California Cancer & Research Institute
400 Taylor Blvd, suite 300
Pleasant Hill, CA 94523
FACULTY: Carol S. Viele RN MS
The ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course provides a comprehensive review of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents. The course content is appropriate for nurses who are new to chemotherapy/biotherapy administration in the oncology setting or for those who want a comprehensive review of this topic.
Nurses without oncology experience may not have sufficient background to place the information into context. They should consider a basic review course or self-study prior to attending. For nurses administering these drugs in non-oncologic settings, the Treatment Basics Course may be more appropriate.
As of 2014, the process of chemotherapy & biotherapy certification will be changing to online and this is almost last opportunity in the Bay Area to attend class and receive certification.
Limited attendance, so please sign up quickly.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.
For additional information, please contact:
